The organizers of the competition are referred to as the “Organizer”.
Eligibility to participate, participation time and how to participate
All natural persons living in the Organizer’s apartment can participate in the competition. For persons under the age of 18, the guardian’s consent is required. The time of entry for the local competition is 13.–26.2.2023. The competition is participation by photographing its own student home. Participation is done here. The participant must have full access to the images that they submit to the contest and be described by the participant himself or her, and must not have been previously published. The images must take into account the privacy policy and copyright issues. The organizer has the right to remove from the competition images whose rights are not under the control of the participant, as well as images that may be considered offensive or otherwise do not correspond to the nature of this competition. The pictures or videos in the competition will be published in student Organizer’s social media, website or other channels. The winner of the local competition will be chosen by a public vote. The voting period is 27.2.–3.3.2023.
Prizes – selection and announcement of winners – how the winners will be notified
The prize for the winner (of the competition) is a gift card to the Finnish Design Shop Kure worth 300 euros. The winner will be announced by May 15th 2023.
Three (3) gift cards to Lidl worth 20 euros will be raffled among all voters.
Each student housing organization i.e. organizers will announce the participants directly to the national competition. The winners of the competition and raffle will be notified personally through contact-details she/ he has provided or through social media. Prizes can only be delivered to addresses located in Finland. If the winner cannot be reached within two weeks of the announcement of the winner, a new winner may be selected in her/his place. Prizes can not be refunded or converted to cash. If the prize is not available at the end of the competition, the prize will be similar to the original. The first names of the participants may be published on organizations’ website, Facebook, newsletter and other media of their choice without separate consent or compensation. The full names of the participants can be published in connection with the publication of the pictures or video, if the participant so wishes. The copyright of the pictures or video in the competition remains with the participant.
Adoption of rules and right of amendment
By participating to this competition, entrants accept these official competition rules. The organisers will resolve all the ambiguities regarding the application of the rules and possible ambiguities in interpretation. The organizers of the competition reserve the right to change the rules and have the right to reject illegal or fraudulent participants from the competition. If the winner of the competition has acted in violation of these rules or otherwise unlawfully, this will result in disqualification. The organizers have the right to exclude from the competition those who seek to abuse the competition in order to change the probabilities of the results.
Responsibility of the organisers
The winner of the prize will release the organizers from all liability arising or alleged to have arisen from participating in this competition or receiving the prize. The winner of the prize will release the organizers from all liability in connection with the subsequent use of the prize or any defects occurring in it, as well as from any liability for injury or damage caused or alleged to have arisen from participating in this competition or redeeming or using the prize. However, this discharge does not affect the consumer’s rights under the Consumer Protection Act. The liability of the organizers towards the participants does not exceed the value or amount of the prize mentioned in these rules.

Collection of data and purpose of processing personal data
PSOAS collects e-mail addresses to submit the prize for the competition. The winner will be contacted via the email address provided. Participation data will be processed anonymously.
Registry protection
The collected register is stored electronically in the register of the psoas.fi website, which is not accessible to third parties. Psoas.fi always operates within the framework of Article 44 of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation and the GDPR, and we also require data controllers to comply with them. Psoas.fi only transfers data to countries outside the European Union that are able to guarantee the protection of personal data in accordance with the GDPR.
The right to inspect and correct your information
You have the right to check what information about you has been stored in the registers and to have any inaccurate information about you corrected. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information at any time.
The register will be kept until April 28, 2023, after which the data will be deleted.
