Over the past six months, PSOAS has gained three new professionals as Service Manager Heini Kauramäki, Communications Coordinator Emma Kemppainen, and Financial Manager Mari Lämsä have started in their positions.
The new recruitments strengthen PSOAS’s ability to provide high-quality and affordable student housing also in the future. Heini and Emma focus on developing services and student-focused approach, aiming to ensure that everyday living runs smoothly. Mari is responsible for developing financial operations together with the finance team, ensuring the organization’s financial stability.
Heini Kauramäki – Service Manager
Heini joined PSOAS in September as Service Manager. She is responsible for leading customer service and rental operations, as well as developing the overall service experience.
Heini brings strong expertise in customer service, service production, and customer experience development and leadership. For her, it’s essential that PSOAS services are smooth, clear, and easy to access – supporting residents’ daily life in the best possible way. She’s especially excited to develop PSOAS services and practices together with a skilled team and great colleagues, aiming for an even better customer experience.

Emma Kemppainen – Communications Coordinator
Emma joined PSOAS in November to strengthen our communications. She brings experience in digital customer service and communications in higher education environments. Her goal is to make communication clearer, more accessible, and better suited to students’ everyday needs.
Emma’s work includes a wide range of communication and marketing tasks, such as content creation, planning, and continuous development of PSOAS channels towards a more interactive and community-driven direction.

Mari Lämsä – Financial Manager
Mari joined at PSOAS as Financial Manager at the beginning of January. Mari has diverse experience in financial tasks, including external and internal accounting, corporate restructurings, finance department management, system implementations, and operational development.
Mari’s goal at PSOAS is to manage finances in a long-term and responsible manner so that the foundation can continue to fulfill its mission of providing high-quality and affordable student housing. On a day-to-day level, the goal is to develop financial operations together with the finance team to serve the entire organization as well as possible.
“Based on my first few months, it’s a pleasure to say that PSOAS truly has a great and highly professional team. My role includes a good balance of both new and familiar tasks, and getting to know a new field of operations has got off to a smooth start. It’s inspiring to have the opportunity to help shape the future of student housing together with the rest of the staff.”
Changes in the Property Management Team
Starting this year, there’s been a change in our property management team: Property Supervisor Jarmo Yrjänä has moved on to new challenges outside PSOAS. A big thank you to Jarmo for his work with us!
Property Supervisor Oona Kauppila is responsible for property management at Linnanmaa, Yliopistokatu 2–46.
