On Finland’s Independence Day 2025, President Alexander Stubb granted Juha Aitamurto, former CEO of PSOAS, the Knight of the Order of the White Rose of Finland (FWR K). The decoration is a recognition of his distinguished work for the good of Finland.
Aitamurto served as PSOAS’s CEO for over 20 years. His impact is still visible in the foundation’s operations, from strengthening PSOAS’s financial position and developing staff expertise to leading several major construction projects. The most recent example is UNO, the new tower building completed in Välkkylä in spring 2024.
PSOAS warmly thanks Juha Aitamurto for his long and influential work in developing student housing in Oulu and congratulates him on this significant honor.
