PSOAS tenants can sign up their apartment for subleasing for a maximum period of one year. Therefore, if you are going to another town for a summer job, internship, or out of the country for an exchange, you don’t necessarily have to give up your apartment. Instead, you can sublease it for another student or someone staying in Oulu impermanently. If you are looking for a place to stay for a period of time yourself, can our Flat exchange be the solution in that case too.
PSOAS Flat exchange is only operating as an ad space connecting students and available apartments. Counterparts should always contact directly each other. The latest posts are at the top of the page and they are held on the list for two weeks at a time.

I’m doing an exchange here in Oulu, and have to leave in the beginning of may, so the room will be free. The room is located in Routa dormitory (Tutkijantie 2 D) on the second floor. The OAMK university is seven minutes away, as well as the grocery shop Prisma is in 10 minutes walk from here. The room itself is located in the shared female apartment, so there also is a room 15a, in case somebody wants to rent two rooms as one apartment, my friend leases her room as well (you can just text me via whatsapp and we could agree on leasing both our rooms) In the room you will have everything necessary provided: bed, chair, table, laundry basket, bed linen, your own bathroom, the fridge and the big wardrobe are located in a shared hallway with the person next door, but also you’ll have a smaller wardrobe to put your clothes/belongings in your room. On the second floor of the dormitory you can use the shared kitchen, it is pretty big, and there is a free laundry room as well. About the price: from my usual rental price for this amount of days it was calculated as 200 euros, but also i would like to kindly ask you for a deposit in amount of 100 euros (in case of breakage of the furniture, etc), so full amount with a refundable deposit after the lease is going to be 300€. What is important, is that you have to clean the room after your stay, so that the deposit will be refunded, other way it will not be returned to you because of the conditions you left the room in. Hi! I am an international student from Slovakia. This room is located on Tutkijantie 2 D15A. In 10 minutes walk is the university OAMK and grocery store Prisma, in 8 minutes walk is a bus stop. I rent the room earlier, as I need to go home earlier. The room is located on the 2nd floor of the building Routa. There is a common corridor and two rooms. In the common corridor there are two separate refrigerators (one of which will be yours), a mirror, hooks for things and a chalk board. There are two rooms A and B. This photo shows room A, but room B is also available for rent. If you need a whole apartment with two separate rooms, you can write in private messages in Whatsapp. The room itself is equipped with the necessary furniture. Bed, linens, two chairs, table, desk, table lamp, basket for dirty laundry, small ladder, floor mirror, and a large window with the ability to open and ventilate, gray curtains to keep out the sun and blinds on the window. The toilet has hooks for towels, shower, sink with cabinets and toilet.The kitchen is on the floor. It's shared. The room is rented from May 10 to May 31 = 21 days. The price for this apartment 200 euros + 100 euro deposit in case of breakage of furniture = 300euro. If you do not break anything, the deposit will be returned to you. Check-in time after 6 am, check-out time until evening 23:00. On the contract will discuss personally. IMPORTANT: It is important to wash the apartment after yourself and put in order.
