Tenancy agreement

The tenancy agreement will be signed at the PSOAS accommodation office, which is located at Mannenkatu 1 A.

Carefully read the terms of the tenancy agreement and save them along with the rental agreement. The tenancy agreement always starts the first of the month. The tenancy agreement can either be for the time being or for a certain period of time.

In the first case, the tenancy agreement ends when your studies end, if either party serves notice or if the landlord terminates the agreement. If the tenancy agreement is for a certain period of time, the agreement is terminated when the time is up. In addition, the tenant cannot terminate the tenancy agreement during the period of time the agreement is valid for.

When subletting an apartment, contact your PSOAS accommodation office.

The deposit should be paid no later than when the tenancy agreement is signed. If the apartment has been taken care of in the normal fashion, the apartment and its storage areas emptied and cleaned, rent and other fees paid and other responsibilities as mentioned in this residents' guide fulfilled, the deposit will be returned approximately one month after the tenancy agreement has been terminated.
