Parking

Parking places can bee booked onling using OmaPSOAS.

Driving a vehicle on the driveways and walkways is forbidden, except for when it is necessary such as during an emergency or for maintenance. It is also forbidden to park in the yard, driveway or someone else's parking space without permission and in flagrant disregard of traffic signs. Illegally parked vehicles hinder maintenance traffic in the winter. Storing junk vehicles in the yard and parking lot is forbidden. The owner of the vehicle bears the cost of removing them.

In accordance with the Electrical Safety Act, it is forbidden to leave a car heating cord and/or extension cord connected to the power outlet when no car is attached to the cord. PSOAS will remove these cords. Keep the outlet boxes locked at all times.

Instruct your guests to park in the guest parking spaces or along the street. You may temporarily park in the area only when you are moving in or out or during similar maintenance loading or unloading and in a way that does not hinder other traffic. In this case, you should leave a note under your windshield wiper saying that you are moving or transporting heavy items. Write down your apartment number so that it is easier to find you and confirm this and to avoid unnecessary parking tickets.

If the janitor notices that a vehicle has been improperly parked, he or she must call parking control to come ticket that vehicle.
